On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati, along with several other prominent figures, have conveyed their best wishes to the people of the state.
In a post on 'X', Yogi Adityanath expressed, “Heartfelt greetings to the residents of the state on Raksha Bandhan, a sacred bond of affection, a silent promise of trust, and a vibrant expression of the unbreakable love between brothers and sisters!”
He further stated, “The delicate thread of protection not only binds the wrist but also connects souls. It weaves an eternal tale of dignity and warmth across ages.” Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also shared his wishes on 'X', saying, “Warm greetings and best wishes to all citizens of the country and the state on this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan! This holy festival symbolizes the unbreakable bond of love, affection, and security between siblings. Let us pledge to strengthen our mutual love, trust, and family values during this celebration.”
BSP leader Mayawati also took to 'X' to wish everyone, stating, “Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all brothers and sisters in the country on the festival of Raksha Bandhan, which symbolizes the sacred relationship and love between siblings. May everyone celebrate this occasion with harmony and joy while preserving its sanctity.”
The Congress party's Uttar Pradesh unit also posted on 'X', extending warm wishes to the residents, stating, “On this auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan, we wish the people of the state heartfelt greetings. May this festival of affection, respect, and dedication fill your lives with the sweet fragrance of happiness, peace, and prosperity, guiding each of your steps towards success and well-being.”
